"Updated: 9/3/24: I have continued to work with Adam and his team and they have been above and beyond on response time to questions, understanding my question and why I am asking, and being responsive to the mode of communication I prefer (text/emails vs. phone). Based on discussions with State Farm, the previous issue/review with the home insurance policy was more likely to be caused by systemic issues in the overall insurance industry versus specific customer service issues at State Farm. old review: I switched to State Farm after working with another insurance company for several years. Had an incident within the first month of switching coverage (water damage), and have had zero responses or follow-up from State Farm. When we dealt with another insurance provider, the agent came out the same day to deal with the damage, start the process, and importantly ensure w/e were safe. Will switch back to another provider once (seems like if) I can get my claim resolved."
